Description:
3-(Morpholin-4-yl)aniline is an inhibitor of the kinase pim-1. It has been shown to inhibit the proliferation of myeloid leukemia cells in vitro, with nanomolar concentrations. 3-(Morpholin-4-yl)aniline also inhibits the growth of human chronic myeloid leukemia cells and murine leukemia cells. The selectivity profile of 3-(morpholin-4-yl)aniline has been characterized using a number of cellular models, including human chronic myeloid leukemia cells and murine leukemia cells. This drug also inhibits enzymatic activity in vitro, which may contribute to its anti-leukemic effects.
