Description:
2,2'-Methylenebis-(1,3-cyclohexanedione) is a P-gp inhibitor that has been shown to inhibit skin cancer in transfection experiments. It also inhibits bowel disease and survivin, which has been implicated in apoptosis. 2,2'-Methylenebis-(1,3-cyclohexanedione) may be used for the treatment of autoimmune diseases and metabolic disorders due to its ability to inhibit protein genes. This drug is an inhibitor of apoptosis that does not affect the production of inflammatory cytokines. It also inhibits the expression of survivin and other apoptosis inhibitors.
