Description:
4-(Methylsulfonyl)phenylboronic acid is a molecule that inhibits the growth of cancer cells. It has been shown to be an efficient and safe method for treating various cancers, including colon, prostate, breast, cervical, and endometrial cancers. 4-(Methylsulfonyl)phenylboronic acid can be used as a test compound to investigate the mechanism of cancer cell death. It also has immunosuppressive activities that may be due to its ability to inhibit the production of pro-inflammatory cytokines such as TNF-α or IL-1β in macrophages and neutrophils.
