Description:
2-Methoxypyridin-3-amine is an amide that has been synthesized using a variety of methods including asymmetric synthesis, acidic deprotection, and chiral derivatization. This compound has been shown to be effective in the treatment of tuberculosis and cancer. With regard to cancer treatments, this compound has been shown to inhibit the growth of human liver cells by regulating fatty acid metabolism. In addition, 2-methoxypyridin-3-amine has been shown to have anti-inflammatory properties due to its ability to inhibit prostaglandin synthesis.
