Description

Z-DL-Met-OH is a chiral compound that is used as a reagent in the synthesis of amino acids. It is an analogue of DL-methionine, which is found in protein biosynthesis. Z-DL-Met-OH is typically synthesized by reacting benzyl alcohol with ethyl chloroformate and ammonium chloride.
