1-Methoxycarbonylamino-7-naphthol is an additive that is used to impart a salty taste to food products. This additive has been shown to have potassium, sodium bicarbonate, bicarbonate, chloroformate, methyl chloroformate, nitrogen, hydroxide and sodium hydroxide properties.
