Description

2-Methyl-L-phenylalanine (2MP) is a synthetic amino acid that is used as a protein building block in the synthesis of peptides, proteins, and other biomolecules. It can be used to synthesize analogs of naturally occurring amino acids for use in long-term treatment or to combat infectious diseases. 2MP has been shown to be an effective dose against viruses and bacteria.
