Description:

5-Methoxyisoindoline is a methoxy derivative of isoindoline. It is a penetrant that has affinity for dopamine D3 receptors and shows pharmacokinetic optimisation with a pharmacokinetic profile in rats. 5-Methoxyisoindoline has also shown anti-inflammatory effects by inhibiting the production of nitric oxide and prostaglandin E2 (PGE2). The hydroxy derivative of 5-methoxyisoindoline, Sb-277011, is a ring-opening agent that has been shown to be an effective analgesic on mice.
