Description:

N-Methyldodecylamine is a molecule that has been used as both an adsorption agent and cross-linking agent. It is a chromatographic method for separating fatty acids, and is also used to prevent the degradation of polymers. N-Methyldodecylamine has been used in the synthesis of antimicrobial agents such as hexadecylpyridinium chloride, which inhibits bacterial cell wall synthesis. This molecule has also been shown to have properties that make it useful for manufacturing particles.
