Description

4-Methoxy-3-(methoxymethyl)benzaldehyde (4MMMB) is a benzene derivative that has been shown to have anti-inflammatory properties. It is an aldehyde with the chemical formula CH3C6H5CHO. 4MMMB has been shown to inhibit prostaglandin synthesis by inhibiting cyclooxygenase, which converts arachidonic acid into prostaglandins.
