Methyl 1-methylindazole-6-carboxylate is a new experimental compound that has been synthesized. It has a molecular weight of 164.2 g/mol and a density of 0.814 g/cm3. The experimental results show that it decomposes at 230 °C, as determined by gas chromatography and mass spectrometry. Computational calculations have been performed to determine the theoretical properties of this compound, including the heat of formation and enthalpy change on formation. The calculated values are in agreement with the experimental data for thermogravimetric analysis (TGA).
