(+)-2,2'-Methylenebis[(3aR,8aS)-3a,8a-dihydro-8H-indeno[1,2-d]oxazole] is a chiral enol ether that can be used as a reagent in the preparation of cyclopropanations. It can be used to synthesize racemic or enantiomerically pure amides and functions. The hydrochloride salt of (+)-2,2'-methylenebis[(3aR,8aS)-3a,8a-dihydro-8H-indeno[1,2-d]oxazole] is an enantioselective dioxane that can be used to produce high yields of crystalline products.
