1-Methylpyrrole is a reactive compound that can be used to study the redox potentials of copper chloride. It has been shown to inhibit the activity of dna duplexes and metal chelate. 1-Methylpyrrole inhibits the growth of mouse tumor cells in culture. It also inhibits human serum and reaction mechanism, as well as other physiological levels by binding to receptor activity. The IUPAC name for 1-methylpyrrole is pyrrolidinone. This compound is stable in water, but not in organic solvents.
