Description:
4-Methoxy-2',4',6',3-tetrahydroxydihydrochalcone is a natural compound that has been identified as an inhibitor of the HSP90 family of proteins. It was found to inhibit hepg2 cells proliferation, and this effect was reversed by the addition of tyrosine kinase domain. 4-Methoxy-2',4',6',3-tetrahydroxydihydrochalcone also exhibited inhibition of cloned human tyrosine kinases and binding to their catalytic domains. This compound may be used in the treatment of cancer.
