Description

mPEG6-OH is a synthetic polymer with a molecular weight of 10,000 daltons. It has minimal toxicity and is used as a cross-linking agent in substrate films. mPEG6-OH can be synthesized by the reaction of methoxy groups and chlorine atoms. This chemical has been used in biochemical studies to measure the diameter of light emission, which is determined by the hydrogen bond between the glycol ester and fatty acid. mPEG6-OH also exhibits toxicity studies in animals, which have shown that it does not cause any significant adverse effects.
