Product Information
M40 is an acetylcholine-like compound that binds to muscarinic receptors, which are found in the paraventricular nucleus of the brain. It has been shown to decrease amyloid beta production and toxicity by inhibiting viral replication. M40 also decreases the formation of amyloid plaques in Alzheimer's disease by blocking virus entry into cells. M40 can be used as a vaccine against vesicular stomatitis, a disease caused by a virus, because it inhibits viral replication. M40 is also an effective drug for treating asthma and may be able to reduce behavioral symptoms associated with Parkinson's disease.
