2-(4-Methyl-5-thiazolyl)ethyl Butyrate is an ester compound that is naturally found in animals. It has been shown to have a transcriptome effect on cells, which may be due to its ability to affect the production of fatty acids and other compounds. 2-(4-Methyl-5-thiazolyl)ethyl Butyrate can also be synthesized from propionate, which is a short chain fatty acid. This chemical has been shown to increase skin cell growth and cause symptoms such as g1 phase arrest and functional groups changes in cells. The chemical also has been shown to inhibit the activity of Bungeanum, a terpene with anti-inflammatory properties.
