Magnesium Nonafluorobutanesulfonate is a magnesium salt that is used in the production of polycarbonates. This product is a white powder with an average particle diameter of 4.5 µm and a viscosity of 0.6-0.8 mPa·s, which has been shown to be resistant to oxidation. Magnesium Nonafluorobutanesulfonate is produced by reacting magnesium chloride with ethylene oxide and sulfuric acid, followed by purification and drying. Magnesium Nonafluorobutanesulfonate can also be used as a corrosion inhibitor and lubricant in the production of polycarbonates, as well as in other products such as amides, paints, and varnishes.
