Methyl (2S)-({N-[(3,5-Difluorophenyl)Acetyl]-L-Alanyl}Amino)(Phenyl)Acetate is a drug that inhibits the growth of cancer cells. It has been shown to be effective in suppressing colon polyps and colorectal cancer. This compound has been shown to inhibit the growth of colon cancer cells by blocking a pathway that is involved in their development. Methyl (2S)-({N-[(3,5-Difluorophenyl)Acetyl]-L-Alanyl}Amino)(Phenyl)Acetate also stimulates apoptosis and may therefore be an effective chemotherapeutic agent for cancers such as colon cancer.
