The kinetic data for the reaction of 2-(1-naphthyloxy)propanoyl chloride with benzamidine was determined by using quantum chemical calculations. Computational results were compared to experimental data to determine if the theoretical model was an accurate representation of reality. The results indicated that the theoretical model was an accurate representation of reality.
