Description

1,7-Naphthyridin-8-amine is a ligand that binds to the ATP binding site of multikinase. It inhibits the growth of cancer cells by blocking the activity of kinases and has been shown to be effective in treating aneurysms, endometriosis, and multikinase-mediated cancers. 1,7-Naphthyridin-8-amine is also capable of inhibiting the production of angiogenic factors, which are involved in tumor development. This drug may be able to treat cancer by preventing cell proliferation through inhibition of aryl halide hydroxylase enzymes.
