Product Information
- p-Nitrophenyl diazonium fluoroborateNSC 63909
4-Nitrobenzenediazonium tetrafluoroborate (4NFB) is a diazonium salt that is used as a reagent in the synthesis of polymers. It has been shown to be cationic at low pH, and was shown to have kinetic data in the range of 10-100 μM. 4NFB is also known as a nitrobenzenediazonium tetrafluoroborate, which is an ionic compound that can be reacted with electrophiles such as trifluoroacetic acid (TFA). The reaction proceeds through the formation of an intermediate and then by nucleophilic attack on TFA. The deuterium isotope effect is observed in this mechanism, which has been confirmed through analytical methods. 4NFB has been shown to have transport properties, such as electrochemical impedance spectroscopy and photoelectron spectroscopy.
