Description:

Naphthalene-2,6-disulfonic acid is a divalent metal ion, which can be used as an adsorbent for the treatment of wastewater. It has been shown to reduce the concentration of organic matter in wastewater by more than 60%. This compound is also used as a catalyst for reactions involving sulfuric acid or other strong acids. Naphthalene-2,6-disulfonic acid has been shown to be highly reactive and may cause gastrointestinal inflammation. The chemical structure and phase transition temperature have not been determined yet.
