Description:
1-(4-Nitrophenyl)-1H-1,2,4-Triazole is a small molecule that has been shown to interact with the ligand binding site of the human estrogen receptor. This interaction leads to inhibition of estrogen-mediated transcriptional activation. The crystal structure of 1-(4-Nitrophenyl)-1H-1,2,4-Triazole has been determined using x-ray diffraction and showed an orthorhombic crystal system with a monoclinic unit cell. This compound was found to have rhomboid crystals and an antiferromagnetic coupling.
