Nomega-Nitro-D-arginine methyl ester hydrochloride (NMDA) is a substance that inhibits the production of tachykinins, which are substances in the body that can cause inflammation. It has been shown to reduce oedema formation and nerve damage in animal studies, as well as reducing symptoms of erectile dysfunction. NMDA can be used for functional foods for improving health or for preventing calcitonin deficiency.
