Na-Boc-L-tryptophan N-hydroxysuccinimide ester is a synthetic compound that is synthesized by reacting tryptophanyl with the succinimide derivative of N-hydroxysuccinimide. It has been used in the synthesis of disulfides, lactams, and other modifications to proteins. Na-Boc-L-tryptophan N-hydroxysuccinimide ester has also been shown to react with reactive amines and formyl groups on proteins.
