Ne-Biotinyl-L-lysine amide is a stable, water soluble amide of Ne-Biotin and L-Lysine that has been used as a reagent to label monoclonal antibodies. This product is designed for use in the detection of peptide hormones and the diagnosis of cancer. Ne-Biotinyl-L-lysine amide reacts with antibodies labeled with Ne-Biotin or Ne-Hexylbiotin and then interacts with the enzyme horseradish peroxidase. The reaction produces a red color that can be detected by colorimetry.
