Description:
3-Nitro-4-(trifluoromethoxy)aniline is a drug used to treat arrhythmias. It is also known as a class III antiarrhythmic agent. 3-Nitro-4-(trifluoromethoxy)aniline has been shown to interact with the atrioventricular node and block automaticity, which leads to decreased heart rate. This drug also inhibits the growth of cancer cells by interacting with hydrophobic molecules that are present in the cell membrane, leading to inhibition of cell proliferation and cancer development. 3-Nitro-4-(trifluoromethoxy)aniline has been shown to be effective in treating hematological disorders such as leukemia and lymphoma. It also improves cardiac function by reducing left ventricular hypertrophy and fibrosis, as well as reducing myocardial infarct size.
