Nickel tetrafluoroborate hexahydrate is a nickel salt that has the formula NiBF4•6H2O. It is a white solid with a melting point of about 158 °C and a boiling point of about 290 °C. Nickel tetrafluoroborate hexahydrate can be used as an organic solvent and in the amination reaction to form quinoline derivatives.
