Product Information

Name:
MRT 10
Description:

MRT 10 is a small molecule that inhibits the activity of two cell signaling pathways, JAK2 and STAT3. MRT 10 has been shown to be an effective treatment for cancer stem cells, which are thought to be responsible for tumor growth and metastasis. MRT 10 also inhibits fatty acid synthesis and induces pluripotent stem cells to differentiate into endoderm cells. In addition, MRT 10 can inhibit the activation of effector functions in both cellular and animal models. It is also effective at inhibiting hydrogen bond formation in proteins by binding to their hydroxyl groups. This inhibition is reversible, allowing it to be used as a linker in conjugations with other molecules such as peptides or proteins. Finally, MRT 10 has been shown to have anti-inflammatory properties by preventing phagocytosis of apoptotic cells by macrophages.
