N-(4-Oxocyclohexyl)acetamide interacts with urea nitrogen in the body, forming a d2/d3 receptor. This interaction may be responsible for its cytotoxic effects on leukemia cells, which are sensitive to this receptor. The chemical structure of N-(4-Oxocyclohexyl)acetamide consists of a cyclohexane ring with an oxime group attached at position 4 and an acetamide group attached at position 2. The hydroxy group (-OH) is located on the acetamide side chain.
