Product Information
Oxibendazole D7 is a polymerase inhibitor that has been shown to have antihelminthic properties. It was developed as a potential molecule for the treatment of intestinal infections, but it is not yet in clinical use. The chemical structure of oxibendazole D7 is similar to that of benzimidazoles, which are used to treat intestinal helminth infections. Oxibendazole D7 inhibits the activity of the enzyme acid methyl ester hydrolase and prevents the formation of polymeric carbamic acid, preventing helminths from developing resistance by inhibiting their development.
