Description

O-methyl N-[2-(2-methyl-5-nitroimidazol-1-yl)ethyl]carbamothioate is a fungicide that belongs to the group of group P2 fungicides. It has been shown to be effective against fungi in the genera Aspergillus, Fusarium, and Rhizoctonia. This compound is also a nematicide, which can be used as a disinfectant or reconstituted with water to form a sprayable solution. O-methyl N-[2-(2-methyl-5-nitroimidazol-1-yl)ethyl]carbamothioate exhibits low energy properties and has been shown to have antimicrobial effects on bacteria such as Staphylococcus aureus, Escherichia coli, and Pseudomonas aeruginosa.
