Description:
Oryzanol is a non-polar solvent that is used in analytical chemistry. It is the most abundant antioxidant compound found in rice bran oil and has been shown to have a variety of physiological effects, including antioxidant activity. Oryzanol contains various types of triterpenoid alcohols, such as 20-hydroxyoryzanol, which can be converted into cholesterol. This product also has been shown to inhibit the formation of hydrochloric acid from sodium carbonate in vivo.
