Description:
Pyr-Gly-OH is a metabolite of the amino acid glutamate. It has been shown that this metabolite is formed by a non-enzymatic dehydration of glutamate. This compound has been shown to be effective in treating bowel disease and cancer, as well as stimulating the production of fibrinogen in the blood. Pyr-Gly-OH has also been found to have anti-inflammatory effects and an increased effect on glutamic receptors.
