4-Pyridin-3-yl-1,2,5-oxadiazol-3-amine is a molecule that has been synthesized in order to be used as a precursor for aminofurazans. It reacts with azides in an elimination reaction to form triazenes. This molecule also undergoes hydrolysis and diazotization reactions with the use of sodium nitrite and hydrochloric acid respectively. 4-Pyridin-3-yl-1,2,5-oxadiazol-3-amine is reactive and can be used for substitution reactions.
