Product Information

Name:
1H-Pyrazole-4-carboxamide
Description:

1H-Pyrazole-4-carboxamide is a pyrazole compound that has been shown to have anticancer properties. It inhibits the growth of cancer cells by inhibiting DNA synthesis, which prevents the production of proteins and cell division. 1H-Pyrazole-4-carboxamide also has anthelmintic activity against gastrointestinal nematodes in animals. The mechanism of action is not well understood, but it may be due to its ability to inhibit cellular respiration and hydrogen bond formation with the bacterial protein synthase. 1H-Pyrazole-4-carboxamide has been shown to bind to the pyrazole ring of S. aureus, thereby inhibiting bacterial growth and causing cell death by preventing DNA synthesis.
