Description

3-Phenoxybenzaldehyde oxime is a modified version of 3-phenoxybenzoic acid that inhibits sirtuins. It has been shown to inhibit the activity of SIRT2, which is involved in the regulation of metabolism and aging. The structural modifications on this molecule allow it to bind to the active site of SIRT2 and inhibit its activity. This inhibition leads to decreased cancer cell viability and an inhibitory effect on cancer cells.
