Product Information
- 4-oxazolecarbonyl chloride
- 2-phenyl-
2-Phenyl-1,3-oxazole-4-carbonyl chloride (2POCl) is a benzene derivative that has been shown to have an inhibitory effect on TNF-α. 2POCl has been shown to inhibit the catalytic activity of TNFA and can be used as a lead compound for the development of new anti-inflammatory drugs. The molecular modeling studies have shown that 2POCl binds to the active site of TNFA, where it forms a covalent bond with the hydrazide residue. This binding prevents the formation of the reactive intermediate, which leads to inhibition of TNFA activity.
