This drug has bacteriostatic activity and is used to treat inflammatory diseases, such as rheumatoid arthritis, and autoimmune diseases. 1H-Pyrazole-3-carbonitrile also inhibits the production of nitric oxide in macrophages, which is a key factor in inflammation.
