Description:
Pyridazine-3-carbothioamide is a pyridopyridine derivative. It is a heterocyclic compound that contains a diazotised pyridine ring, which is coupled with an ethyl cyanoacetate to give the corresponding dimer. The methylene group of the pyridine ring can be substituted with one of three groups: methyl, pyrazolo, or malononitrile. Pyridazine-3-carbothioamide reacts with methylene chloride and ethyl cyanoacetate to produce a nitrile and an amine.
