Description:

1H-Pyrrolo[2,3-b]pyridin-6-amine is a molecule that has been shown to inhibit the activity of kinases. It binds to the active site of a kinase and blocks ATP binding by sterically hindering access to the ATP binding pocket. 1H-Pyrrolo[2,3-b]pyridin-6-amine has been shown to be an effective inhibitor in vitro against ethynylation, diazonium salt, nitrite and chlorine. The compound also has high yield with amines and pyridyl groups in postprocessing.
1H-Pyrrolo[2,3-b]pyridin-6-amine is a nucleophilic pharmacophore that can be used as an anticancer drug in the future to target certain types of cancer cells.
