4,4'-[1,3-Phenylenebis(1-methyl-ethylidene)]bisphenylcyanate is a molecule with an average particle diameter of 3.8 nm and a hydroxyl group at the top. It reacts to form cyanate, a compound with a depression of 3.2 cm. The reaction rate for this model has been determined mathematically by using the mathematical model shown in Figure 1. This bifunctional compound has two functional groups: an ester and a hydroxy group.
