Description:

Potassiumdi-tert-butylphosphate is a potassium salt of tetrabutylammonium phosphate. It is an antifungal agent that has been used in the treatment of skin and nail infections caused by dermatophytes. It works by destroying the fungal cell membrane and inhibiting its growth. Potassiumdi-tert-butylphosphate is water soluble and can be used for topical administration to the skin or nails. The compound is also used as a catalyst in organic reactions, such as the synthesis of sulfates from chlorosulfates, or in the conversion of dichloromethane to tetrahydrofuran.
