1H,1H,2H,2H-Perfluorooctyl acrylate is a substrate film that is used to prepare polymeric matrices. The chemical structure of this polymer has been determined by the use of nitrogen gas and X-ray diffraction. It is a dry weight polymer and can be used in wastewater treatment. This polymer film may also be pegylated and photoelectron spectroscopically analyzed to determine its structural properties. 1H,1H,2H,2H-Perfluorooctyl acrylate undergoes an electrochemical impedance spectroscopy when it is exposed to light and oxygen.
