Parabanic acid is an organic chemical that contains nitrogen and has a high resistance to water. It belongs to the group of p2 plant metabolites. Parabanic acid is found in the leaves of plants and has a high water permeability, which makes it suitable for use in the surface methodology. Parabanic acid also inhibits the production of acetylcholinesterase (AChE), which leads to increased levels of acetylcholine. This chemical can be used for the treatment of diabetic neuropathy, as well as other autoimmune diseases. Parabanic acid is also used in glycol ethers and methyl ethyl nitro compounds, where it acts as an inhibitor. A study has shown that parabanic acid may have anti-inflammatory properties due to its inhibition of prostaglandin synthesis.
