2-Pyridyl)dithiobimane is a hydrophobic molecule that has been studied by structural analysis and biochemical methods. This compound is a fluorophore with an interaction with multidrugs, which has been shown in biochemical studies. 2-Pyridyl)dithiobimane also binds to cannabinoid ligands, and it is active site residues that are responsible for the peroxide binding. The redox potential of the molecule is due to nature of the residue on the active site.
