Description

3-(2-Pyridyldithio)propanoic acid hydrazide (3PDPAH) is a metal chelate that can be used to generate monoclonal antibodies. This compound has been shown to bind to the collagen of human cells, suggesting that it could be used in diagnostic tests. 3PDPAH has been shown to have pharmacological effects on the nervous system, especially in women. It has been shown to increase body mass index and may have neurologic disorders as side effects. The symptoms are subarachnoid hemorrhage, headache, and transient ischemic attack.
