Description:

Propargyl acrylate is a biocompatible polymer that is used as a cross-linking agent. It has an active methylene group, which can be polymerized to form polypropargyl acrylate. The hydroxyl groups on the polymer film act as template molecules for the polymerization of propargyl acrylate. This material has been shown to be effective in regenerative medicine and analytical chemistry. Propargyl acrylate has also been used as a clickable molecule for the attachment of biomolecules to surfaces, such as actin filaments or fetal bovine serum proteins.
