Product Information
Poly(4-vinylphenol-co-methyl methacrylate) is a polymer with a high glass transition temperature. It is used as an insulator and cross-linking agent in the fabrication of semiconductor devices, such as transistors and capacitors. Poly(4-vinylphenol-co-methyl methacrylate) is made up of monomers that are hydroxy groups (H) and vinyl groups (C=CH). The hydrophobic nature of poly(4-vinylphenol-co-methyl methacrylate) makes it suitable for encapsulating electronic devices. This polymer also has a constant melting point, which can be altered by changing the proportion of vinyl group to methyl methacrylate group. FTIR spectroscopy shows that this polymer has an absorption peak at approximately 3100 cm−1. Poly(4-vinylphenol-co-methyl methacrylate) has also been shown to have good
